Self-care is such a buzz word these days but don’t let that diminish its’ importance. As busy women, we often put ourselves last. Emily Ley wisely says, “You can’t draw water from an empty well.” Time to do something to replenish yourself! I always feel more sane when I take a few minutes to do something for myself (and by myself ;).
My issue is finding the time. As much as I’d like to, I don’t have the luxury to sit for 20 minutes with a face mask. Nor can I do it inconspicuously in the carpool line etc. as I go straight from walking my son into day school to a corporate office. Enter Foreo.
I recently had the opportunity to try Foreo’s UFO LED Activated Smart Mask. The UFO is a device that utilizes temperature, light, and pulsations to maximize your masking experience in just 90 seconds. No more excuses! Now it’s easy for me to take moment to relax and pamper my skin before Ford wakes up or before I fall asleep.
The UFO is compatible with their line of Korean formulated masks. Simply download the app and scan the barcode on the mask. The app leads you thru the treatment process. The app is optional after initial set up but I prefer to use it. The lady’s voice is very soothing and helps me momentarily zen out. My favorite two masks are Shimmer Freak, a caffeine infused eye mask, and Glow Addict, an illuminating mask for dull skin.
