Beach trips can be exhausting – the sun, the sand, and all the STUFF. It can wear a mom out! Luckily this year, I stumbled upon the Beachmate via @DoSayGive before our annual trip to Rosemary Beach. Beachmate consolidates all your beach needs – buckets, shovels, cooler, tote bag – into one easy to carry bag.
The Beachmate comes with four sand castle or treasure hunting ready buckets in two sizes that fit perfectly in one large tote box (which you can use for sand, ice bucket, or flip over for a table). Two industrial strength shovels clip to the outside. The large tote is encircled by a removable tote bag with various pockets to hold all your personal items like sunscreen, phone, wallet, keys. And don’t let me forget the cooler bag that fits in the bottom of the large tote for snacks and beverages!
Our Carriage House was about an 8 minute walk to the beach entrance. At which point, you have to walk down a couple flights of stairs to get to the beach. So the less you have to carry the better! Ford and I often headed down to the beach in the early morning with Scott joining us after his morning coffee (#dadlife #mustbenice ha!). This meant I had to carry everything so it was essential to have my hands free to carry my 30lb+ toddler. Beachmate to the rescue!
